The Pioneer Woman Mercantile is a destination bakery, deli, hotel, pizza restaurant, ice cream and candy shop, and general stores in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Server, busser, and food runner: all titles that are applied to aspects of this job. Our style
of service at The Mercantile is a little different than many restaurants and it calls for a
service team that is different as well. Whether this is walking guests through the menu,
providing efficient and friendly tableside service, running food, or cleaning tables to
prepare for the next set of guests. Service staff will deliver outstanding customer service to delight each guest!
Summary of Key Responsibilities

Greet guests and take care of them through their dining experience

Take drink and food orders and ensure accuracy when ringing in and delivering food

Run food items and beverages to tables

Pre-buss and buss tables as needed

Assist guests with any questions they may have

Knowing food and beverage menus including common allergens and commonly asked questions

Completing opening and closing duties as assigned by managers

Check ID’s and responsibly serve alcoholic beverages
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills and Abilities

Strong communication skills are a must

Servers must be able to apply and receive a Liquor License through able commission

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and work on feet for a minimum 8-hour shift

Must be courteous, friendly, and fast

Food and beverage menu knowledge
Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation

Warm and friendly hospitality and attitude
-
Must be able to obtain a valid Oklahoma liquor license
