Job Description
This is a remote position.
Summary :
A successful candidate will manage an assigned territory in the Mid-West of the United States and work anywhere within this region. This will include representing company wood products within the new home, multi-family and commercial construction markets. They will be both a technical resource and product expert in their territory along with growing relationships with our key customers and developing a marketing plan for the assigned territory.
- Establish, manage, and maintain customer relationships by ensuring excellent service and follow-up and by learning and supporting the customers’ business.
- Design and implement regional marketing programs with key pro-dealers, retail accounts and builders which support corporate sales and marketing objectives.
- Promot new and existing products to contractor yards and builders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert regarding products or programs in the marketplace
- Resolve customer product issues.
- Build a strong professional network by attending regional trade shows and home builder association meetings.
- Work closely with inside sales staff and sales management to ensure sales and marketing objectives are achieved.

Knowledge of construction and building materials.

Experience in Construction Management with a focus on project scheduling. MUST HAVE : Full cycle project scheduling (beginning to end). Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project. Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques. Desire and ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to understand construction plans and specifications. Role is and in-person, in-office and requires occasional project site visits throughout the state of Massachussetts.
