Job Description
A crucial role in the planning and schedule management of our client's construction projects. Utilizing MS Project and working closely with project teams, trade partners, and consultants, you will be responsible for ensuring that project schedules are baselined and updated, efficient and competitive.
Reporting to the Vice President of Field Operations, the Project Scheduler role provides a great opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale projects that have a significant impact on our communities.
What you'll be doing :
- Assist with the development and / or review of both pre-bid and post-award CPM schedules, per owner requirements.
- Assist project teams' development of project narratives based on production and budget information from personnel including project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams.
- Update Microsoft Project schedules with monthly activity progress through coordination with project teams.
- Coordinate with our external Project Schedule Consultants on deadlines, revisions, current projects.
- Participate in schedule review meetings with project teams, estimating staff, and maintain client meeting minutes.
- Assist with RFP and proposal schedule development for our pre-construction and bid opportunities.
- Travel to project sites to assist project teams.

Requirements
Experience in Construction Management with a focus on project scheduling. MUST HAVE : Full cycle project scheduling (beginning to end). Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project. Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques. Desire and ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to understand construction plans and specifications. Role is and in-person, in-office and requires occasional project site visits throughout the state of Massachussetts.
