Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take drink and food orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Answer questions about the menu, make recommendations, and handle special requests.
- Bartending Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers.
- Handle cash and card transactions and provide accurate change.
- Ensure that drinks are served responsibly and in accordance with local alcohol regulations.
Order Management:
- Ensure timely delivery of drinks and food orders from the kitchen to customers.
- Work efficiently during peak hours, managing multiple tables or customers at the bar.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including clearing tables and washing glassware.
Collaboration with Staff:
- Work as part of a team with kitchen staff, hosts, and other servers to ensure a smooth operation.
- Communicate with other staff to ensure customer needs are met quickly.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
Inventory and Stocking:
- Monitor stock levels of liquor, mixers, and bar supplies, and assist in re-stocking when necessary.
