About the Role
We’re seeking a Staff Accountant with 1–3 years of experience to join the accounting team and support a broad range of day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in a dynamic business environment and gain exposure to multiple areas of accounting, reporting, and process improvement.
The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the Controller and broader finance team to maintain accurate financial records and help support month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by ensuring accuracy of financial data and timely submissions
- Help generate and review financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, vendor statements, and other balance sheet accounts
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed, including invoice processing, payment runs, and customer billing
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Partner with team members to implement process improvements and enhance accounting workflows
- Support the preparation for internal and external audits and documentation of accounting controls
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and best practices (US GAAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (internships, public or private sector)
- Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment
- Experience in consumer product goods is a plus but not required
- CPA or progress toward CPA is a bonus but not mandatory

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
