The Planet Forward is seeking a highly skilled Site Construction Inspector to oversee and inspect multiple water project construction sites, ensuring quality, safety, and progress.
The successful candidate will be involved in several park-related construction projects this summer. They will not perform hands-on work but require experience in civil, environmental, or roadway-type projects.
The role involves addressing safety concerns, reviewing and recommending change orders, and producing daily and weekly project reports.
The Site Construction Inspector will collaborate closely with contractors, trade partners, and consultants to ensure construction standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and observe construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Produce daily and weekly construction project reports.
- Collaborate with contractors, trade partners, and consultants to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is being completed correctly according to schedule.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in civil construction inspection.
- Experience with Viewpoint Vista or similar construction reporting software.
