What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Delivery Driver position at The Plant Truck, LLC?
We are a family owned business located in Spartanburg, SC.
We are looking for a driver to deliver houseplants to our valued customers.
We run routes every other week in Charlotte, Raleigh, Winston-Salem and once a month we go to Knoxville.
We are looking for someone who has exceptional customer service and enjoys working with people.
A clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen and a background check are also essential.
Our truck is below CDL. It is a 24 ft 2020 Hino box truck with air brakes and a reefer unit.
This job is a part time position.
It is best suited for someone who has a flexible schedule such as someone who is self-employed, retired or has a part-time job elsewhere.

Experience:
- Box Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
Requirements
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business needs dictate.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to drive a straight truck.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must possess a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a driving test.
- Must be able to pass an occupational chemical screen upon hire and every six months thereafter.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business needs dictate
- Ability to work extra hours as business needs dictate.
- Ability to sit for significant periods of time.
- Ability to read, count and write accurately to complete all documentation.
- Ability to move merchandise generally weighing anywhere from 0-60 lbs.
- Candidate must be able to bend, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the course of a work day
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items.
- Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
- Ability to drive a truck with a standard transmission.
- Ability to follow a gps and use an ELD.
License/Certification:
- CDL (Not Required)

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
