Plastek is seeking multiple people to join our maintenance team, from entry level to skilled Technicians. 12 hour Night shift available.
Automation and Machine Technicians for the maintenance of automation and assembly equipment. To keep production automation & machines running with a minimum of down time. Experience with troubleshooting & repair of automation, PLC controllers, and software is preferred. Knowledge of some or all of the following; Read and write PLC logic, Able to read, electrical/hydraulic ladder diagrams, Software changes and programming, Plc programmable controllers - specifically Allen Bradley controllers, Strong Electrical background and capability, Diagnostic problem solving for malfunctioning equipment, perform corrective adjustments, Pneumatics and hydraulics.
Multicraft Mechanic needed for the maintenance of injection molding equipment with a minimum of down time. Accept the philosophy of continuous improvement by participating in training and by reducing waste and improving efficiencies. Knowledge of some/all of the following:
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to support custom automated assembly.
- Supervising the setup and operation of all machinery.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and computer-generated reports.
- Demonstrating proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
- Interfacing with computer systems, including SAP, for maintenance work orders.
PM Mechanic - To perform daily checks on machines and other production equipment to prevent malfunctions and reduce machine downtime. The PM Mechanic is responsible for the following;
- Daily communication with Supervisors and relative employees to
- Cleaning, greasing and oiling large machines
- Basic repairs
- Inspecting, adjusting and/or replacing worn parts
- Recording work performed on machines
- Inventory of oils, greases, filters and supplies
- Safety checks on machines
- Responsible for safe operation and handling procedures in work area.
- Create and complete work orders in SAP computer system
- Good attendance and attitude
Starts at $18/hr - $25/hr - Pay Depends on experience
