Who are we looking for? A Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to work on a part-time schedule, exclusively in-office, between our Sacramento and Granite Bay locations.
We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing and Social Media Coordinator who contributes to the development and execution of brand marketing and creative social media content plans. The ideal candidate is an energetic, self-starter, and resourceful problem solver who has an interest in the plastic surgery industry. Someone who gets things moving and keeps them on track; and has the ability to work effectively both in a team environment and alone. This individual has superior written and oral communication skills, as well as demonstrates exceptional critical listening and analytical thinking. The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator has the ability to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities while both taking direction well and being a self-starter, taking initiative to help further the company. It is very important that a Marketing and Social Media Coordinator is trustworthy and motivated enough to be allowed to optimize their own day to day schedule.
A day in the life of a Marketing Social Media Coordinator:
You come to the office with an outline of surgery and non-surgery content you will be capturing that day. In between that time, you are creatively designing and editing content that will be published that day, week, or month. You find yourself often balancing working in the now and planning ahead.
In partnership with the Marketing Director, you are analyzing the content you’ve published for learning opportunities and celebrating wins.
You are always finding ways to grow our following, provide quality content that connects, and innovating the ways in which we connect with our target audience. At the end of the day, you are the go-to expert for developing the brand of our surgeons.
As a Marketing and Social Media Coordinator, you are responsible for knowing all things social such as the latest content and cultural trends, as well as helping execute socially-led initiatives driven by insights and real-time feedback. Implementing sales tactics and continuously analyzing and optimizing these tactics to maximize the value and effectiveness of all The Plastic Surgery Center accounts. You will need excellent, positive communication skills as you respond to and work with our patients or followers via social outlets and in person.
Responsibilities:
Research target audience and discover current trends .
Create engaging text, video, and image content.
Manage a strategic content calendar.
Collaborate with the Marketing team, surgeons and medical staff.
Monitor patient and target market sentiment to identify ways to increase reach and engagement.
Engage with social media users’ inquiries and questions via social channels.
Engage with patients in-person during consultations and post-op appointments.
Monitor and report social media engagement and growth to the Marketing Director.
Be willing to help create content for our other owned channel as needed.
Navigate between our offices in Sacramento and Granite Bay to capture content.

Qualifications we are looking for:
Minimum of 1 year of marketing, social media management, or similar experience.
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work quickly, accurately, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Canva and other editing platforms.
Willingness to have a flexible availability within normal business hours.
Experience interacting with customers/patients.
HS diploma or equivalent required.
