TPSC is seeking a Medical Assistant/Front Desk for our Medi Spa.
Responsibilities:
1. Medical Assisting:
o Assist medical providers with patient care, including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and documenting medical histories.
o Follow and adhere to all SOPs provided by It Aesthetix
o Prepare for the day of office hours by reviewing patients on the schedule, and printing the provider’s daily schedule
o Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
o Room patients, open note, medical history, update medications and allergies, and update medical history prior to being seen by provider
o Chaperone provider in room, complete EMR while in the room with provider.
o Perform basic medical procedures as directed, such as preparing injectable products, applying dressings, and assisting with minor procedures.
o Ensure all medical supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained in good working order.
2. Front Desk Coordination:
o Provide patients with information about our monthly promotions, packages, prices, and process payments after treatment.
o Keeps patient appointments on schedule by communicating with the office of patient's arrival or any delays on the schedule.
o Assist patients with explaining and filling out patient forms, and complete patient portal tasks according to practice protocol.
o Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
o Schedules follow-up appointments and manages the appointment calendar efficiently, coordinating with providers to optimize patient flow.
o Handle patient payments and maintain accurate billing records.
o Maintain a tidy and welcoming area, ensuring it reflects the high standards of our medical spa.
3. Administrative Support:
o Assist with administrative tasks such as filing patient records, updating databases, and managing electronic health records (EMR).
o Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure office procedures are followed and compliance standards are met.
