The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, relationship-driven professional with a background in healthcare business development, provider relations, or medical sales. This individual will be responsible for engaging with medical practices, educating them about our services, and ensuring a seamless referral process.

Key Responsibilities

Provider & Community Engagement

  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with physicians, orthopedic and trauma specialists, urgent care centers, and hospital systems across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
  • Conduct regular field visits to medical offices, delivering educational materials and updates on the practice’s offerings in plastic, reconstructive, and hand surgery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for referring providers, ensuring timely communication and an excellent referral experience.
  • Identify new referral sources and key market opportunities within NJ & PA.

Referral Growth & Outreach Strategy

  • Execute a targeted outreach plan to increase referral volume from key regions in NJ and PA.
  • Track referral patterns, analyze data, and adjust outreach strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the practice at medical conferences, physician networking events, and healthcare summits in the region.

Education & Brand Representation

  • Organize and lead lunch-and-learns, educational presentations, and in-office training sessions for referring providers and their teams.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by promoting our state-of-the-art procedures and patient-focused approach.
  • Distribute marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and engagement with potential referral sources.

Collaboration & Internal Communication

  • Work closely with the marketing, business development, and patient intake teams to align outreach efforts with overall growth initiatives.
  • Provide real-time feedback from referring providers to enhance patient referral processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Keep the team informed on market trends, competitive insights, and referral opportunities in NJ & PA.

The Practice Ambassador will focus on New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with targeted outreach in:

  • New Jersey: Northern NJ (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Union), Central NJ (Middlesex, Monmouth, Mercer, Somerset), and Southern NJ (Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Atlantic).
  • Pennsylvania: Philadelphia Metro Area, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties, as well as key hospital networks in Eastern PA.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 2 years in business development, physician liaison, medical sales, or provider relations (preferably in healthcare, surgical specialties, or rehabilitation).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with plastic, reconstructive, and hand surgery procedures or a willingness to learn.
  • Skills: Strong relationship-building, networking, and communication abilities.
  • Personality: Outgoing, self-motivated, and proactive in developing professional connections.
  • Technology: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and referral tracking systems.
  • Travel: Frequent travel within New Jersey and Pennsylvania (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required).
