Job Title : Part-Time Seasonal Lifeguard (maximum 29 hours per week)
Location : The Players Club Omaha at Deer Creek
Pay Rate : Starting at $16.00 per hour
Position Summary :
We are looking for responsible, vigilant, and enthusiastic lifeguards to join our team for the season! As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all patrons, enforcing pool rules, and maintaining a clean and inviting pool environment.
Lifeguards should be ready to respond swiftly to emergencies and assist patrons as needed.
Responsibilities :
General Lifeguarding Duties :
- Monitor the pool area to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations consistently.
- Perform rescues and provide emergency care, including CPR, as required.
Opening and Closing Duties :
- Lay chaise lounge chairs flat.
- Hose down and / or sweep pool deck and surrounding areas.
- Take trash to the dumpster and replace trash bags.
- Vacuum the bottom of the pool to maintain clear visibility.
- Ensure all areas are safe and the bottom of each pool is clearly visible.
- Ensure bathrooms are clean, smelling fresh, and welcoming for patrons.
Other Duties :
- Assist with pool maintenance and setup of pool area.
- Complete required daily reports on pool activities and incidents.
Qualifications :
- Must hold a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
- CPR certification, renewed annually.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Previous lifeguarding experience preferred (pay increases with years of experience).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
