What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor position at The Plaza Hotel and Suites?
You would be joining a fun and professional work environment. Must be dependable, friendly and have a passion for customer service; cashier and computer experience preferred. On the job training is provided. Professional appearance required; job includes work in all areas of hotel guest services. (please note this position is for The Holiday Inn Express and Suites). This is a part-time overnight position (hours 11p-7a) - weekends are required as needed.

Job Description
- Promote our business in a polite and professional manner.
- Sell rooms by taking reservations.
- Greet incoming guests.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel.
- Thank outgoing guests.
- Processing guest folios and collecting payment.
- Administering and managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Handling guest requests and concerns promptly and with courtesy.
- Assisting guests with any inquiries regarding local entertainment, restaurants or transportation.
- Making online reservations as well as checking emails and replying in a professional manner.
- Balancing and processing the day's journal.
- Credit card processing.
- Recording and reporting all Management Reports to Rivers Hotel Company corporate.
- Maintaining the efficient and effective flow of information with guests and all internal departments.
- Care for property and clean both the property and job equipment.
- Set up and shut down meeting rooms.
- Able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Handle additional duties as requested by guests and management.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
