Job Title : Barista
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Barista to join our team. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, including coffee, tea, and drinks, while providing excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. This position requires a caring and patient individual who is comfortable working in a healthcare environment, ensuring that all beverages are served in a safe, pleasant, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities :
- Beverage Preparation : Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other specialty beverages according to standard recipes and resident preferences.
- Customer Service : Greet residents, visitors, and staff with a friendly and respectful attitude, taking orders and fulfilling requests in a courteous manner.
- Resident Interaction : Provide personalized service to residents, understanding their needs, and ensuring beverages meet dietary and health considerations (e.g., sugar substitutes, decaffeinated options).
- Hygiene & Cleanliness : Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing equipment and utensils, cleaning countertops, and ensuring proper hygiene and safety standards are followed.
- Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and cups, and communicate with management when reordering is necessary.
- Assist with Special Requests : Be attentive to special requests or needs, such as dietary restrictions, and work closely with the food services team to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborative Teamwork : Work closely with other staff, including kitchen personnel and medical staff, to ensure that residents’ dietary preferences are considered and their overall experience is positive.
