Job Summary:

The Pleasantville Public School District is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our Child Study Team. In this role, you will provide a range of psychological services to students, including assessments, interventions, and support services.

Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate student learning needs through psychological assessments.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to support student learning and achievement.
  3. Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to create supportive learning environments.
  4. Provide counseling and therapy services to students, parents, and staff.
  5. Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and contribute to professional development opportunities within the district.

Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with School Psychologist Endorsement.
  • Minimum experience as determined by the board.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
