Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified School Psychologist to join our team at The Pleasantville Public School District. As a member of the Child Study Team, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide a range of psychological services to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological evaluations to determine student learning needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to students, parents, and staff.
  • Collaborate with teachers to adjust programs and experiences to enhance student learning.
  • Participate in the evaluation, classification, and placement of all pupils with special needs.

Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with School Psychologist Endorsement.
  • Minimum experience as determined by the board.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
