We are seeking a highly qualified School Psychologist to join our team at The Pleasantville Public School District. As a member of the Child Study Team, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide a range of psychological services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to determine student learning needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide counseling and therapy services to students, parents, and staff.
- Collaborate with teachers to adjust programs and experiences to enhance student learning.
- Participate in the evaluation, classification, and placement of all pupils with special needs.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with School Psychologist Endorsement.
- Minimum experience as determined by the board.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
