Our 3 operating businesses offers 240,000 square feet of entertainment space under one roof where you will find everything you need for fun, fitness, family activities, food & beverage, parties, and social events. Open 7-days a week, our facility offers an arcade of games, bocce ball, bouncy houses, wall climbing, cornhole, darts, pizza, sushi, tapas, a vast beer wall and so much more.
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, Hockey Desk Attendant is responsible for providing genuine outstanding customer service and enforcing all Sportsplex policies relating to the rinks. They will provide a great impression for members, players and guests using names at every opportunity. Staying informed with all current programing and special events hosted by the Plex. Professionally answer all incoming phone calls and assist members with questions regarding programing, billing, etc. They will serve as a resource for customers, players, members with questions about the company policies, programs, or services. They will refer any questions about facilities’ access to the relevant manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain appearance and overall environment of facility by completing daily tasks.
- Work with fellow desk attendants or league managers.
- Collect league and membership fees.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer emails.
- Handle Point of sale transactions.
- Keep all supervised areas and immediate work areas neat, clean, and uncluttered.
- Monitor any safety issues with customers, look for any unsafe activities, and report to appropriate management.
- Handle all member (or employee) incidents, accidents, or problems, filling out required forms. Or refer incident to an MOD or management.
- Assist in any emergency: loss of electricity; fire and/or fire alarms; earthquake; other natural disasters; major injury / illness of member or staff; etc.
- Assist department manager and other departments in administrative duties and projects as requested.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Customer Service Obsession with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good administrative and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of scheduling, and or event booking software
- Familiarity with phone system like ShoreTel
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to one year’s related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for duration of work shift.
- Bend, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of walking.
Qualifications

Salary : $18 - $20
