The Plus Group is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant (part-time) to join our client's team located in San Leandro.This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, supporting office functions, and assisting various departments with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities :
Greet and assist visitors, determine their needs, and direct them accordingly
Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, ensuring all calls are handled professionally
Maintain positive relationships with customers, brokers, and employees
Prepare and distribute memos, correspondence, and other documents as needed
Create and send employee announcements using email and electronic formats
Set up conference rooms for meetings and ensure office cleanliness
Perform light housekeeping duties, including kitchen maintenance and organizing office spaces
Monitor and replenish office supplies, including copier stations and water stations
Assist with office event planning, including scheduling caterers and coordinating reservations
Support new hire onboarding by creating security badges
Act as a backup for reception and mailroom duties, including sorting and processing shipments
Provide administrative assistance to other departments as needed
Second language desirable, with Spanish preferred
Qualifications : AA degree preferred
Three or more years of administrative or office support experience
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Pay Rate : $24-$25\hour
