CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Must be able to lift 30 lbs, engage in active play, and supervise children throughout the day.

- Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
- Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.

- Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
- Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
Classroom & Child Development
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate, faith-based learning activities.
- Supervise children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
- Support teachers in guiding positive social and emotional development among children.
- Observe and document children?s progress, interests, and developmental milestones, sharing insights with staff and parents.
- Assist with mealtimes, nap times, hygiene, and general care to maintain a healthy environment.
Administrative & Leadership Support
- Work closely with the Director to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth classroom transitions.
- Serve as a liaison between staff and parents, fostering positive relationships and clear communication.
- Help maintain attendance records, incident reports, and compliance documentation as required by childcare regulations.
- Assist with scheduling, classroom organization, and staff support to enhance overall program quality.
- Uphold faith-based values and help integrate Christian teachings into daily activities.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with the Director, teachers, staff, children, and parents.
- Work alongside teachers to create a positive, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment.
- Model and encourage professionalism, patience, and empathy when interacting with children and families.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and special events as needed.
