events that take place at Evie’s on the Bay, Tiki Bar and Point Restaurant. Their role

Create event timelines and schedules, and manage event-related
deadlines.
2. Budget Management:
Develop event budgets in consultation with clients and management.
Track expenses and ensure that the event stays within budget constraints.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure cost-effective
services.
3. Venue Setup and Logistics:
Oversee the setup of event spaces, ensuring that they are arranged
according to the event's requirements.
Manage technical aspects such as lighting, sound systems, and audio-

Additional Duties:
Schedule Music for The Tiki bar and coordinate with their management team on who and when
along with marketing live music and ensuring their payments are taken care of.
Bank Runs – Place change orders with the Corporate Office according to what restaurant
management needs. This needs to be done twice a week during season and once a week off
season.
Plan Property events and Specialty events for the entire property such as Luau, Easter Egg Hunt,
and Dance Parties. Coordinate with all managers on property.
Attend Social Marketing functions with Visit Sarasota and other Marketing groups.
Maintain front road sign advertising.
Bring all event linens to the laundromat for cleaning.
Insure up keep of all event supplies and equipment. Keep all event storage areas organized and
clean.
Maintain 1 st floor ground level, including furniture and game equipment.
Drop off marketing supplies for our events to other Evie’s and Visit Sarasota locations.
Communicate and work with Management Staff on Large Table Reservations for all groups over
15. Customizing menus and coordinating with restaurant staff for seamless execution of large
table reservations.
Make sure all deposits and payments for events are paid in a timely manner.
Ensure after all private events staff is paid correctly using the Events spreadsheet.
