We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food preparation efforts in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and organized by sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic cutting and assembling of ingredients.
• Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Support kitchen staff during peak hours by providing clean dishes promptly.
• Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages of dishware or cleaning supplies.
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries in the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for hospitality and culinary arts is highly desirable.

Pay: $14.70 - $15.50 per hour
