- Job Title: Accountant - SG&A
- Job Summary: The Accountant - SG&A (Sales, General & Administration) will prepare financial reports to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
- FLSA Classification (US Only): Exempt
- People Manager: No
- Performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
- Prepares month end journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
- Reviews P&L accounts during month end and researches accruals.
- Performs monthly trend analysis for SG&A accounts and records subsequent adjustment entries.
- Reviews purchase requisitions and provides support to the Business to track and accrue SG&A expenses.
- Performs research projects and process improvement projects as needed.
- Three (3) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
- Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficient with accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
