What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director - Physical Facilities & Maintenance position at the Polynesian Cultural Center?
Directs the operation of the organization's Physical Facilities operations through the supervision of managers and supervisors. Formulates and implements policies and procedures to facilitate processes according to organizational standards. Conducts studies to clarify and correct procedural problems. Reviews the feasibility of new or revised systems and procedures, and oversees audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
Essential Functions:
- Directs the organization's ongoing Physical Facilities operations and activities toward the accomplishment of organization objectives.
- Defines and recommends objectives; develops specific short- and long-range plans and programs together with supporting budget requests.
- Plans, coordinates and directs all Operations division operating budgets, ensuring all expenditures are within approved limits.
- Develops and recommends plans for facility improvement and expansion.
