What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor - Retail Sales Operations - Ulu Store - FT position at the Polynesian Cultural Center?
Supervises various PCC retails sales shops. Coordinates activities of the sales team, focusing on exceptional customer service, problem resolution. Works with the sales associate staff, developing their skills and abilities. Directing sales associates to pursue the achievement of the store and individual sales goals. Provides interesting and exciting product displays. Executes appropriate staff and materials management. Supervises the holding inventory and ensures accountability for each item. Assists the PCC retail manager in enforcing retail policies and maintaining a consistent and high-quality retail image and enforces retail inventory policies.
Essential Functions:
- Supervises, coordinates, provides leadership to, assists with and reviews the work of assigned employees in the retail areas to ensure exceptional customer service and quality control.
- Provides guidance in the resolutions of routine problems for all retail operations area.
- Familiarizes employees with established organization procedures, rules and regulations.
- Estimates personnel needs and assigns work to meet completion dates in accordance with schedules fixed by higher supervision and subject to higher approval.
