What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician - Water Features - Apprentice position at the Polynesian Cultural Center?
Under the Foreman, performs and assists in the repairs and preventative maintenance on the lagoon, its associated systems and all watercrafts and associated equipment used at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in and cleans and maintains function of the lagoon and water features to acceptable standards as needed using approved methods, including motor boat operation, scoop nets and skimming tools, vacuum tools, gaffs, etc.
- Assists in and maintains and repairs PCC canoes and work boats adhering to approved standards of repair and maintenance.
- Assists in and monitors and provides basic maintenance on the PCC well system, water filtration systems, and sluice gate controls.
- Performs other job-related duties.
