The Pool Company, Inc. has been in business since 1996. We love what we do and the customers we serve. We are looking for a Pool Service Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for pool/spa openings, closings, cleaning, and light repairs, as well as new equipment installations, diagnostics and repair of various existing pool/spa equipment, and other related duties within our company. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing industry.
Applicants should have strong electro-mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Previous experience in pool and spa repair or other similar fields such as HVAC, electrical experience, or plumbing is required.
Applicants must be able to communicate well with customers and other staff members, be able to work independently and with limited supervision, and be able to handle a physical workload and work in all types of weather, including rain.
Technicians will:
- Perform pool openings and closings, new equipment installs ranging from lights, pumps, filters, automation systems, heaters, safety covers, etc; diagnostics; service contracts; water balance chemistry and mitigating chemical applications, etc.
- Perform repairs in a professional and clean manner and communicate findings, recommendations, and work done, and follow-up with customers as well as store personnel.
- Identify foreseeable issues or preventative maintenance needed.
- Perform quality inspections prior to completion of job.
