Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their shopping needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key to driving sales and assisting with swimming pool/backyard needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves and ensure product displays are well-organized and visually appealing.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items and promotions.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in a retail setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to upselling and promoting products to enhance sales performance.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
