The Portal Barcade is growing and we need more staff!
The Portal is a retro themed arcade with a bar-like atmosphere. We offer hot food that is surprisingly better than food you find at a typical bar or arcade, from preservative-free deli sandwiches to quesadillas with fresh chicken and creative hotdogs. We also offer locally roasted coffee and espresso, which we can make into espresso cocktails!
We are hiring Minions! Our minions run the house by learning one or all of our three stations. We like to cross train on all stations to create a more cohesive team. You can apply to bartend only, or you can earn more hourly for each additional station you want to learn:
*The Bar: make awesome cocktails and talk to guests.
*Sandwich Artist: assemble sandwiches or hotdogs and other light food items behind the bar.
*The Barista: pull a shot of espresso and make a spiked latte with a shot of Jameson added in for fun!
Our starting base pay is $10-$12 plus tips. With tips most employees take home $20-$25/hour.

Mini Bosses: The mini bosses are shift leaders and key holders.
Mega Boss: the Mega Boss runs the show.
We have opportunities for the right candidates to be promoted to leadership positions. We are happy to negotiate with the right candidate for competitive pay, hours, and benefits. While we may be a "barcade," we are looking for top talent to grow the business with and can pay competitively.
We offer paid time off for every hour worked (full and part time employees) and benefits such as health/dental/vision, 401k matching, and more for all full time employees (over 30 hours.)
