We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This full-time, on-site role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills and a passion for numbers.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process and post customer payments in a timely manner
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Generate and distribute invoices and account statements
- Evaluate credit applications and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients
- Set and adjust credit limits based on financial analysis
- Monitor customer accounts and manage credit risk
- Contact customers to follow up on overdue payments via phone, email, and mail
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies
- Negotiate payment plans or settlements for delinquent accounts
- Maintain clear, organized records of collection activities and communications
Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or a related finance/accounting role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
