Wholesale Delivery Driver

Role Requirements:

Our customers rely on us to get their orders to them quickly and without errors or damage, so they can perform the projects they are scheduled for. As a Driver, your primary responsibility will be managing a delivery route between your home branch location and customer locations/job sites. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

- Proficiency in following GPS/delivery schedules: Delays on the route result in our customers having to delay their own projects, so ensuring we get to our delivery locations on time and in an efficient route is imperative.

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills: Our customers are the heart of our business, and drivers are the face of the company during deliveries and pickups. Drivers are the link between the customer and the branch location, so building a relationship and relaying customer feedback to the appropriate management team member allows us to constantly improve our processes.

- Attention to detail: Inspecting deliveries upon drop off and returns upon pickup for accuracy, completeness, and damage is crucial. Drivers must be able to cross reference packing lists and credit memos with the items being physically dropped off and picked up to prevent billing errors and project delays.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you must meet the following basic qualifications:

- Valid driver's license required

- Possession of a DOT Medical card

- Successful completion of a preemployment drug screening

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
