Overview : Bell / Door Person
The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Bell / Door Person to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Bell / Door Person will be responsible for assisting guests with their cars, luggage and deliveries during arrival, departure, and their stay at the property.
Responsibilities :
- Greet and welcome all guests. Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
- Ensure knowledge of all hotel daily events and always escort guests to events or outlets on property
- Load and unload luggage carts
- Escort guests to rooms and familiarize them with hotel services and amenities (hours of outlets, pool, exercise room etc.). Inspect guests room to ensure it is in order and that supplies are adequate
- Explain features of the room including operation of television, telephone, in-room movie system, etc
- Check / store luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags
- Deliver messages to meeting rooms. Deliver flowers, laundry, and packages to guestrooms. Assist with room changes
- Maintain current listing of local and area attractions, special events and activities
