Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the stewarding team, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance
- Train and develop stewarding staff on proper cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including food preparation areas, cooking equipment, dishwashing areas, and storage areas.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, and place orders as needed.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of dishwashing machines, floor scrubbers, and other cleaning equipment.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared and delivered on time and together
- Ensures compliance with food handling, sanitation, and chemical handling standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Minimum 1 year of Stewarding Supervisor experience
- Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
- Physical demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of standing.
