About The Postpartum Den:
The Postpartum Den is a small, women-owned mental health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) devoted exclusively to perinatal women — those navigating the emotional, psychological, and physical transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood. Our programming is trauma-informed, integrative, and community-rooted. We are growing intentionally and seeking a clinician who is ready to help build something meaningful from the ground up.
Position Summary:
We are hiring a Lead Clinician to join our founding team. This is a highly hands-on clinical role — perfect for someone who thrives in small environments, values relationship-based work, and wants to grow with a mission-driven program.
You’ll facilitate therapy groups, provide individual sessions, coordinate care, enter documentation, and collaborate with the clinical and administrative team. You will serve as the clinical point person on-site and help us deliver exceptional care in an intimate, supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate therapeutic groups three days/week as part of the IOP (curriculum provided).
- Provide 1:1 individual therapy for assigned clients (1x per week per client).
- Coordinate with clients’ external providers (e.g., OBs, therapists, psychiatrists).
- Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, and discharge documentation.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in EMR.
- Attend weekly team meetings and collaborate with leadership team.
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to clinical excellence and culture.
Qualifications:
- LCSW (TN license required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an IOP, PHP, or structured outpatient setting
- Demonstrated experience facilitating therapy groups (including psychoeducation, skills-based, or process groups)
- Strong interest and clinical experience in perinatal mental health
- Familiarity with evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, CPT, mindfulness)
- Organized, grounded, and collaborative
- Clinical supervision available for LMSWs or provisionally licensed clinicians
