Jakes Divinity School is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Application Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize the organization’s software applications. The ideal candidate will ensure the availability, stability, and performance of applications, assist with troubleshooting, and coordinate system updates and installations. This role requires a strong understanding of application infrastructure and system integration.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and maintain application software and related systems.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of applications by monitoring performance and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with various teams (e.g., development, IT support, and business users) to identify application requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups for all supported applications.
- Manage user access and permissions for applications, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Coordinate and implement application upgrades, installations, and customizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related problems, working with vendors or internal teams as needed.
- Create and maintain documentation for application configurations, procedures, and support troubleshooting.
- Provide training and support to end users to maximize efficiency in using the applications.
- Participate in system and application testing and quality assurance processes.
- Stay current with new trends and technologies in application management and provide recommendations for improvements.
