We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Integration Specialist to join our team. This position involves designing, implementing, and supervising activities related to data integration and automation. Ensure data quality and integrity across various database systems. Ensure seamless data flow across databases and Cloud services by monitoring and optimizing the architecture. Identify and deploy the optimal Data Integration (DI) framework tailored to the organization's specific requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities: Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data for reporting and analytics purposes.
- Automate and orchestrate ETL processes using scripts, and other technologies.
- Leverage Python and other related tools for data cleaning, manipulation, and statistical analysis.
- Work with AI team and integrate cognitive science/AI-related projects across the organization.
- Leverage generative AI to improve workflow, functions, and business processes.
- Integrate Power BI with external data sources and APIs to create dynamic, real-time dashboards, scalable data analysis and transformation.
- Provide full lifecycle support from implementation to maturity of DI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement automated data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing validation checks and error handling mechanisms.
- Handle complex data requests, reports, and predictive data modeling
- Identify inefficiencies in current databases and leverage solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues.
- Prioritize project tasks and handle scope changes while ensuring projects meet deadlines and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align project goals with business needs.
- Maintain clear documentation of project plans, milestones, and outcomes to ensure effective communication and reporting.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field plus 3 years of experience.
- Related certifications (e.g., CDIS, CDIA, AWS) plus 5 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance.
- Python, PowerShell. Experience with Java Script is a plus.
- Microsoft Power BI.
- API’s, web services, message queuing, ESB.
- ETL processes, data pipeline orchestration, and automation.
- Forecasting models (ARIMA, Prophet) and statistical analysis.
- Strong understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
- Working knowledge of generative AI prompting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
