About The Practice:
We are fast-growing, state of the art, private practice in Franklin, TN. Our office is a general practice with a focus on high end cosmetic cases and total smile rehabilitations. We offer a wide array of services and our goal is to provide patients top notch care while handling all of their dental needs.
Working hours are Monday-Thursday from 8:00AM-4:00PM
What we are looking for:
- A full time, experienced dental front office administrator.
- A dependable individual who is well spoken, reliable, and motivated with a great work ethic.
- Applicant must be a self-starter, have great communication skills, a positive attitude, be organized and possess a willingness and desire to learn and grow.
- Experience with dental billing, managing multiple provider schedules, as well as constructing and presenting treatment plans.
- Comfort with dental terminology and a deep knowledge of various dental procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a friendly, welcoming and warm environment for patients to feel at ease upon arrival for their appointments.
- Handle all forms of patient communication including, but not limited to, answering phones, responding to text messages across various office channels and responding to emails in a timely manner.
- Establish strong communication with clinical staff to maintain a cohesive patient experience across the entire appointment.
- Manage a daily dental schedule with multiple providers, working to keep all providers schedules filled to optimal production.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and EMR systems, and assist with medical documentation as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and post-operative care.
- Verify insurance benefits, process insurance claims and payments, and collect patient payments at the time of their visit.
- Present and schedule patients for necessary treatment while providing a breakdown of patient financial responsibility over the course of the treatment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of dentistry procedures and terms
- 3 years experience in a dental front office position
- Knowledge of dental insurance benefits and claim processing
- 3 years experience in a patient facing role demonstrating effective communication skills
- 3 years experience in managing a dental schedule with multiple providers
- Current CPR Certification
- OSHA Compliant Sterilization Techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Dentrix
- Experience with Weave
- Experience with Dental Intel
- Knowledge of digital x-rays, oral surgery and implant procedures are added advantages.
- Strong case presentation skills and comfortability in patient interaction while discussing treatment plans.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
