Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Assess and monitor student progress through standardized testing and informal evaluations.
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring early intervention.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
Experience
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with child welfare principles and practices related to early childhood education.
- Strong background in tutoring or teaching foundational skills in math and literacy.
- Ability to create engaging learning activities that cater to various learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with students, parents, and staff members.

Pay: $12.83 - $15.00 per hour
