Men's Program Lead Job Description

The Pregnancy Resource Center (TPRC) Men’s Program Lead is responsible for overseeing the execution of TPRC’s Fatherhood Program and furthering the spiritual mission of The Pregnancy Resource Center. This is a salaried, exempt position.

This position requires flexibility in working 32 to 45 hours per week with some nights and weekends. This is a flexible role that includes meetings at off-site locations with various organizations.

Reports to: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complies with the policies and procedures of Kerr County Christian Action Council (KCCAC).
  • Directs strategic and daily operations of TPRC’s Fatherhood Program.
  • Recruits and trains new TPRC Fatherhood Program staff and volunteers.
  • Oversees training and orientation of TPRC Fatherhood Program staff and volunteers.
  • Creates and oversees the individual and group class schedule for the TPRC Fatherhood Program.
  • Creates new curriculum as needed.
  • Meets directly with clients in one-on-one and group class sessions teaching approved parenting and spiritual curriculum.
  • Refers clients to various resources throughout the community as needed.
  • Ensures all client files are being filed and maintained appropriately within applicable technology systems.
  • Serves as a liaison between TPRC and church Pastors within the community.
  • Enhances the image of KCCAC by being active and visible in the community and by working closely with churches and community organizations.
  • Furthers the religious mission of the ministry of KCCAC by developing the Spiritual Program strategy for the TPRC Fatherhood Program.
  • Promotes and represents KCCAC at off-site events and speaking engagements (e.g. churches, radio, schools, and other appropriate venues) as needed.
  • Oversees security of TPRC buildings and operations.
  • Oversees maintenance of TPRC buildings and grounds.
  • Oversees technology for TPRC systems.
  • Attends regular training sessions as needed for curriculum, adoption, and other topics.
  • Furthers the religious mission of the ministry of KCCAC through prayer or other duties.
  • Participates in corporate prayer as part of KCCAC’s ministry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a mature Christian as evidenced by personal growth and life choices by being committed and an active member of a local Bible believing church:
  • a) Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • b) Practices an active prayer life, interceding with God and trusting Him for whatever fruit our ministry produces.
  • c) Demonstrates a knowledge of, and an ability to, share the gospel with others comfortably.
  • d) In full agreement with KCCAC statements of Faith, Principle, Code of Christian Conduct, and Commitment of Care.
  • An Unshakable Pro-Life Conviction, without apology, compromise, or exception, that abortion is the unspeakable and sinful taking of an innocent human life and the willingness to stand up for that belief and for the Mission Statement of KCCAC.
  • Conveys a loving, non-judgmental attitude at all times.
  • Contributes to the ministry by working as a team member.
  • Self-directed and experienced in carrying out responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Easily able to multitask, with high organizational skills.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Actively views their position as more than a job.
  • High School Diploma or related experience equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications as needed.
