Qualifications:
- Full charge Automotive bookkeeping experience
- CDK experience a plus
- Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Thorough understanding of automotive administrative and accounting functions
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong follow-up abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional and dependable team-player
Responsibilities include:
- Cost and post deals to the general ledger
- Audit deals for accuracy and compliance
- Handle vehicle floorplan and payoffs
- Calculate, process, and submit commissions
- Examine and maintain all accounting schedules
- Review and management of CIT’s and all other manufacturer and customer receivables
- Complete various journal entries and statement postings, process/route other necessary paperwork
- Handle inquiries from various dealership personnel
- Assist Office Manager and Controller with monthly close and other tasks as needed
