This summer, we are offering a part-time internship for students interested in gaining practical experience in accounting, with a special focus on tax preparation and planning. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to deepen their understanding of accounting practices and tax law in a real-world setting.
Internship Activities :
- Research : Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to support tax planning and compliance activities.
- Reconciliation : Assist in preparing balance sheet and bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Invoice Analysis : Learn to analyze invoices and apply appropriate accounting treatment, following company policies.
- Voucher Preparation : Accurately prepare vouchers in PeopleSoft, learning to do so in a timely manner.
- Audit Support : Provide support in gathering and organizing documentation for audit requests.
- Journal Entries : Learn to compile and analyze financial information and assist in preparing journal entries to general ledger accounts.
- Document Management : Help organize and maintain tax documents and client files for easy access and review.
- Project Support : Collaborate on special projects and be willing to take on other duties as assigned.
