Looking for a friendly, hardworking and dedicated pharmacy technician to join our team at The Prescription Center-Cherry Street in Southside Scranton. We are a retail, specialty pharmacy servicing patients throughout the region.
Hours of operation are:
Monday through Friday: 9am-530pm
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed
***Available Shift is as follows***:
Monday: 9am-530pm
Tuesday 9am-530pm
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: 9am-530pm
Friday: 9am-530pm
Weekends: Closed
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for:
1. Answering the phone promptly to ensure quality customer service.
2. Performing the entry of prescription information.
3. Accepting customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions.
4. Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
5. Creating prescription labels and put them on prescription containers where permitted.
6. Audit Preparations and Submissions
7. Assist with maintaining the pharmacy by keeping it clean and in order.
8. Assist in inventory management processes including: order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.
