Primary Objective of Position:
Daily supervision and direction of outlet service staff. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality standards for outlets. Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience.
Essential Functions/ Leadership Skills/ Team Work Skills:
- Perform and assist with proper opening and closing of the outlets on property
- Act as a liaison between Food & Beverage Management and associates
- Take every opportunity to amaze the guests
- Answer all incoming calls in a friendly and efficient manner. Provide guests with the requested information concerning the city, the hotel and its services.
- Obtain the necessary information from the guests and enter it into the host computer system
- Assist managers with reservations training, procedures and policies with associate
- Assist service team with support performing daily duties in the outlets as needed. Performing answering the phone, bussing and setting tables, running food, printing checks, etc. when necessary.
- Assist team in going above and beyond for Groups by managing VIP arrivals and working with sales and rooms teams for special amenities
- Follow all applicable Property Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure that meals are being served in a professional and timely manner by circulating within the outlet and communicating with the kitchen and the order takers. Handle guests’ complaints. Monitor and supervise set up and maintenance of room service area to ensure that it is up to standard
- Ensure availability of manpower, supplies, and equipment to ensure positive guest experience. Assist in, supervision and control of all servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers and banquet team members
- Attend pre-meal meetings and conduct ongoing training of associates to ensure that associates continue to improve their performance
- Assist in the completion of reports on production and necessary requisitions. Assist in regulation of distribution of necessary supplies
- Ensure In Room Dining is executed appropriately during shift
- Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team
