We are seeking passionate, professional, and detail-oriented Baristas to deliver exceptional morning beverage and food service to guests in our vibrant lobby café. The Barista plays an integral role in shaping memorable guest experiences through attentive service and expertly crafted beverages.Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve espresso, coffee, tea, and specialty beverages consistently and with meticulous attention to quality and presentation.
- Warmly welcome and professionally engage with guests, anticipating needs and responding promptly to special requests.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewing equipment.
- Set up and replenish breakfast displays, including bakery items, fruit, yogurts, and spreads.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of café workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Accurately handle payments and transactions using a POS system.
- Complete opening and closing checklists thoroughly, including cleaning duties, restocking inventory, and securing the café area.
- Communicate effectively and maintain positive interactions with guests and colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous barista or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact confidently with guests.
- Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support team members proactively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must obtain and/or maintain food handlers certification and Alcohol Awareness certification (minimum age required).
