Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated organized Expediters and energetic Food Runners to join our dynamic team in the restaurant industry. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers by communicating effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders, special requests, and any dietary restrictions.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests during busy service periods.
- Participate in banquet services as needed, assisting with setup, service, and breakdown of events.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being proactive in helping others.
- A passion for culinary arts and providing excellent customer service.
