Summary:
As an Assistant House Manager at The Price Center, you will support a dedicated team of Direct Support Professionals, ensuring exceptional care for our residents. This role involves supervising staff, managing resident care, and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of experience in I/DD or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Supervise:
- Direct and support staff in daily activities
- Ensure high-quality program implementation
- Assist in scheduling and training staff
- Resident Care:
- Provide hands-on care with daily living activities
- Manage medical appointments and ensure optimal health care
- Teach budgeting skills and manage personal finances
- Communication:
- Maintain strong relationships with families, day programs, and community partners
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Conduct regular safety drills
- Activities and Engagement:
- Plan and lead educational and recreational activities
- Foster independence and social skills
- Support residents' religious and cultural expressions
