Position: Housekeeper
Reports To: Executive Housekeeper
Position Overview: Main responsibility is to clean and sanitize guest rooms.
These duties may be described as, but not limited to:
- Report to work as schedules in proper uniform and clock in/out on company’s time system accurately.
- Organize housekeeping cart and storage closet. Transport linens from laundry room to housekeeping closets and guests rooms on occasion
- Remain friendly and out going towards guest at all times.
- Report to supervisor any unsafe condition in guest room or hotel hallways.
- Ensure every room is free is debris and make sure that all guest amenities and supplies are in the proper place in each room.
- Remove all soiled linen (dish trays) from hallways and ensuring that public spaces are clean and clear of debris.
- On occasion, work to clean the public spaces of the hotel and other outlets to ensure proper sanitation for our guests.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to work under pressure required.
- Maintain consistency from room to room.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent required.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
