Food Service Team Member

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, punctual, friendly and organized individual to join our team as Food Truck Staff. As a key member of our operation, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about food and customer service, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and tight environment, while maintaining a high level of energy and motivation.

Pay:

• $14 - 16 per hr, depending on experience (includes tips)

Duties & Experience:

• Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week.
• Cell phone and access to reliable transportation.
• Able to lift heavy boxes overhead, be on your feet for your shift.
• Versatility working with a grill, cooking, cutting, and putting dishes together.
• Customer service, taking orders, cashing patrons out, explaining menu etc
• Fast learner and can think outside of the box.
• Must be quick to prepare and serve food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations, explaining menu etc
• Handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized working station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
• Comfortable speaking to customers and engaging with them.
• Collaborate with the chef to ensure food quality and consistency.
• Help with setup and tear-down, including loading and unloading supplies.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards is a must.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the food industry, with a passion for providing a unique and memorable experience.
• Must be able to travel to food truck location on occasion (Madison and St. Francois Counties).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
