Compensation

Medical Assistant starts at $18.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes licensure, experience, education and site location when determining wage.

• Ebensburg Community Health Center 152 Zeman Dr, Ebensburg PA.

General office hours:

• Monday8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Tuesday8:00 am - 7:00 pm
• Wednesday8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Thursday8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Friday8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• NO WEEKENDS

Position Overview

Medical Assistants (MA) , License Practical Nurses (LPN) ) assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the outpatient office setting this might include both clinical and front desk duties.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant (MA): graduate of an approved school Medical Assistant (certification preferred) and/or two years’ experience in a clinical setting

• Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) : graduate of Licensed Practical Nurse program and licensed or eligible to take state boards.

• Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge

• Administering Medication

• Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred

• Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a provider’s direction

• Computer proficient and EMR experience
