Compensation
Position starts at $17.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes licensure, experience, education and site location when determining wage.

PHN Sheakleyville Health Center: 3339 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, PA 16151
PHN Sandy Lake Community Health Center: 3205 S. Main St., Sandy Lake, PA 16145
The general office hours for this position are Monday (8:30am-7:00pm) Tuesday (8:30am-5:00pm); Wednesday (8am-5pm), Thursday (8:30am-5pm) Friday (8am-5pm)

Position Overview
Medical Assistants (MA) and License Practical Nurses (LPN) assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the outpatient office setting this might include both clinical and front desk duties.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant (MA): graduate of an approved school Medical Assistant (certification preferred) and/or two years’ experience in a clinical setting
- Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN): graduate of Licensed Practical Nurse program and licensed or eligible to take state boards.
- Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
- Administering Medication
- Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
- Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a provider’s direction
- Computer proficient and EMR experience
