About The Print Lab LV:

We are a Printing Company looking to grow in the Las Vegas community with the right help. We began from printing in our balcony with a small screen press and heat press for our athletic wear line. With time we have built skillsets necessary for an industrial shop but are growing and need the extra help with people who have experience in the fast paced screen printing industry.

Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Screen Print Operator is to perform the duties involved in screen printing fulfillment. These duties include screen setups (burning, registration on machine, etc.), ink handling (mixing), printing, troubleshooting technological problems and maintaining/cleaning screen printing equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Screen selection,screen reclaiming, emulsion coating, burning screens and wash out, as well as cleaning after printing.
• Effectively create and vector art using Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Verify that jobs are correct before printing (correct screen usage, colors, etc.)
• Anticipate, recognize and correct possible issues with ink and press.
• Perform Quality checks throughout the process.
• Safely perform physical demands as indicated below.
• Work overtime (if needed) to meet deadlines.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in an indoor setting, but may be exposed to variable temperature conditions indoor and outside.

Requirements include:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Higher degree in art or graphic design preferred
• 2 years' experience in Screen Printing or in a Print Shop
• Basic math and reading skills and must be able to read and understand work and safety instructions in English
• Ability to manage multiple activities at different stages of complexity
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organization skills combined with structured problem solving and the ability to determine root cause, containment, and corrective actions

• Must be available Monday - Friday, 9:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, speak, hear, and comprehend.
• The employee is required to stand for an extended period of time
• The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus to small detail
